Job Description

The Administrative Assistant, People Experience, Biopharma, PGS & GTS is responsible for providing administrative and organizational support to two People Experience leadership team members: the SVP, People Experience, Biopharma and the SVP, People Experience PGS & GTS, including but not limited to efficient calendar management, travel arrangements, preparation for and set-up of team meetings, preparation and distribution of presentations and materials. Role responsibilities include working closely with SVP, People Experience, Biopharma and SVP, People Experience PGS & GTS providing administrative support and provide adhoc support to respective teams. Handles correspondence/documents of confidential nature and where appropriate respond to, create, compose and/or edit written materials and/or e-mail responses. Proactively coordinates leadership and team meetings, prepares and edits meeting agendas, minutes & action items, reports and presentations using Microsoft Office software and other tools such as MS Teams. Exercises sound judgment in anticipating priorities and potential conflicts to ensure deadlines are met and leaders are properly prepared. Provides support managing calendars, scheduling high-level, time-sensitive meetings, managing travel arrangements, and completing expenses; serves as backup to Executive Assistant to EVP, Chief People Experience Officer. Completes quality work on a timely basis, using judgment to identify most urgent issues and working to resolve them. Embraces and champions Pfizer Values and Lightspeed behaviors.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years' experience of providing administrative support to senior leaders.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to execute initiatives in a timely manner with high quality
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness with proven ability to anticipate needs, prioritize responsibilities, manage multiple priorities with tight timelines, and take initiative
  • Ability to work well both in team environment as well as operate independently with minimal supervision
  • Independent, proactive and anticipates needs
  • Ability and professional demeanor to interface with senior management and must be able to exhibit good judgment in handling confidential information
  • Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
  • Proficiency in MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook are essential
  • Adept at learning new technologies and tools
  • Additional location information: Cos Cob, CT
  • If candidate's primary location is NYC, role requires willingness to travel to our Cos Cob CT office a few times/month

The salary for this position ranges from $31.36 to $52.27 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company's policies. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
