Our client, a leading organization in the metal fabrication industry, is seeking a Press Brake Set Up to join their team. As a Press Brake Set Up, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the fabrication team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Press Brake Set Up

Location: Dresser, WI

Pay Range: $22.50 - $24.00

Shift: 2nd shift, Monday - Thursday 4:15pm - 2:45am

What's the Job?

• Set up press brake tooling including dies, punches, back gauges, and support tools based on job specifications.
• Operate CNC or manual press brake equipment to accurately bend, form, and shape sheet metal or plate.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to ensure precise production.
• Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety procedures and protocols.

What's Needed?

• 1–3 years of experience operating or setting up an AMADA Press Brake, with CNC experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop math (fraction/decimal conversion).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of metal types and bend properties.
• Proficiency with measurement and inspection tools such as calipers, height gauges, and tape measures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
