Couey’s CATV is seeking a Cable Puller to join our growing team. This position supports the installation of fiber optic and coaxial cable for underground and aerial utility construction projects. Responsibilities Assist crews with pulling fiber optic and coaxial cable through conduit and aerial pathways Load and unload cable reels, tools, and materials at job sites Set up cable pulling equipment, rollers, and guides Support directional drill and installation crews during cable placement Use hand tools and small equipment safely Maintain clean and organized work areas and vehicles Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE Assist with traffic control and job site setup when needed Report safety concerns or equipment issues to supervisors Requirements Must be able to pass a DOT physical Must pass pre-employment and ongoing drug screenings Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift heavy materials Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Construction or telecommunications experience preferred but not required Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team Must be willing to travel Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $18 - $22 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
