Certified Peer Support Specialist Supervisor Location: Thurston County
Reports to: Clinic Administrator
Salary Range: $81,000 - $90,000, based on years of experience. Position Summary: The CPSS Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision, support, and professional development of Certified Peer Support Specialists providing behavioral health peer services in a clinic-based setting. This role ensures compliance with all Washington State Department of Health (DOH) requirements and integrates peer support services into the broader interdisciplinary care team.
Duties & Responsibilities: - Monitor and audit documentation to ensure compliance, timeliness, and DOH-aligned scope
- Oversee onboarding, training, and continuing education
- Collaborate with clinical teams to embed peer roles into treatment planning and care delivery
- Ensure peers operate within the DOH Code of Ethics for CPSSs
- Manage scheduling, assignments, and group facilitation coverage
- Lead performance improvement and coaching conversations
- Provide supervision to assigned staff
Minimum Qualifications: - WA State Certified Peer Support Specialist credential
- 2+ years working as a Certified Peer Specialist
- Experience in coaching, team leadership, or supervision
- Knowledge of documentation standards and peer boundaries
- HCA Peer Supervisor Training Completed
- 500 hours joint supervision
