Diesel Mechanic – Full-Time

Rhome, TX
$20–$30 per hour (starting, based on experience)

Texas Truck Doctor is hiring a dependable and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our growing shop in Rhome, TX. This is a full-time, long-term position for a mechanic who takes pride in quality work and wants steady hours and consistent workload.

We work on diesel trucks for fleets and owner-operators and are looking for someone who is reliable, professional, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel trucks accurately and efficiently
• Perform engine, brake, suspension, and electrical repairs
• Complete preventative maintenance and inspections
• Communicate repair needs clearly
• Maintain a clean, safe work area
• Follow shop procedures and safety standards

Qualifications

• 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred
• Ability to diagnose diesel engine and electrical issues
• Dependable and punctual
• Able to work independently and with a team
• Own tools preferred
• Valid driver’s license
