Corteva Agriscience is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our Engineering & Maintenance department within the agriculture, forestry and fishing industry. In this role, you will support safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our agricultural production and processing facilities by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of industrial electrical systems and equipment. Working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional maintenance and engineering team, you will help ensure that our seed technologies, crop protection production lines, and related agricultural processes operate with minimal downtime and in full compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. As an Electrician at Corteva Agriscience, you will perform hands-on work with power distribution systems, motor control centers, variable frequency drives, lighting, instrumentation, and control circuits in field, plant, and warehouse environments. You will interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals to diagnose issues and implement effective repairs, while following rigorous Lockout/Tagout, NFPA 70E, and company safety standards. Your responsibilities will include installing new circuits and equipment, performing preventive and predictive maintenance, supporting commissioning of new agricultural and processing assets, and assisting engineers with implementing process and reliability improvements. You will work closely with operators, engineers, and maintenance technicians to prioritize work, respond to equipment breakdowns, and document activities through our maintenance management systems. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in an on-site, industrial-agricultural environment that may involve outdoor work, seasonal peak periods, and rotating on-call or overtime as needed to support critical operations.
