Green Meadow Elementary is searching for Teachers who bring joy, creativity, and heart to the classroom. We encourage new teachers, and Spanish or Portuguese speaking teachers, to apply. A two day New Teacher Orientation will take place on August 24th and 25th. The first day of school for teachers will be August 28th. Art Teacher - Grades PK to 3

• Create a collaborative and nurturing environment for students to learn and take risks
• Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to students
• Plan well-structured lessons that have varied learning experiences to meet student needs
• Guide and counsel students with adjustment and/or academic problems
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with students, families, and staff.
• Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress, and to determine their priorities for their children and their resource needs.
• Collaborates well with colleagues of diverse backgrounds on pedagogical approaches, curricular alignment including Universally Designed Learning, and instructional strategies
• Evaluate student progress which includes report cards and creating Student Success Team meeting notes when necessary
