Real Chemistry is looking for a Senior Experience (UX) Designer to join our growing team!

21GRAMS, part of Real Chemistry, takes an innovative approach to advertising, and focusing on making healthcare more human. This is a senior level Experience Design position that will provide support in execution of creative and digital experiences for various clients across the agency. Organization, positivity and flexibility are essential as you work both autonomously and collaboratively to discover creative solutions based on quantitative and qualitative research. We want Senior Experience Architects who love unraveling tough problems and inspiring people to think strategically about experiences in fresh new ways.

This is a hybrid role, based in any of our US officesincluding New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, Lambertville, or San Franciscoor remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs.

What you'll do:

• Lead and own the creation of experience deliverables including wireframes, clickable prototypes, functional annotations, experience strategic thinking, customer journeys, and sketches
• Conduct in-depth user research, usability testing, heuristic analysis and competitive analysis
• Lead in the crafting of projects of all stages from concept to implementation (that includes but is not limited to design process, research, prototype and building); collaborating with project managers and account leads to set project goals
• Effectively provide experience and support in applying consumer needs, brand guidelines, strategic insights, etc. to a variety of digital solutions including but not limited to: journey maps, UI flows, and storytelling deliverables
• Contribute and critique design work with the creative teams daily, offering and taking constructive feedback; as well as providing feedback to the junior and mid-level designers
• Utilize and advocate for human-centered design process and thinking; driving user-centered strategies in design and interaction suggestion
• Lead with action to inspire and encourage teams in use of new methods and push thinking
• Research and stay current in digital design trends, tools, and technologies within all industries, but especially the healthcare industry.
• Assist in continued learning opportunities for team
• Lead presentation to internal teams as well as take part in some client facing meetings and communication
• Mentor mid-level and junior designers on the experience team
• Ensure consistent and user-friendly solutions and maintain consistency within systems for brands

What you should have:

• 4-6 years experience in creating and designing complex digital products/experiences
• Interest in healthcare and medicine
• Deep knowledge of general SEO and ADA guidelines
• Ability to work well in a team setting/environment
• Self-directed and comfortable working with ambiguity and uncertainty
• Ability to think proactively, multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal communication skills; strong writing and composition abilities
• Self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excited about changing the landscape and finding creative solutions
• An eye for pixel perfect design and careful attention to detail.
• Construct clean and organized creative deliverables that adhere to style guidelines

Pay Range: $100,000 - $120,000 This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location. Working with Real HART: Since the pandemic, we have adapted to how our people told us they want to work. We have office locations in cities in the US, UK, and Europe with many employees and clients that serve as hubs where and when they need us. For employees who are within an hour of one of our offices, we expect attendance in the office two days per week, either at a Real Chemistry office or onsite with clients. We are also actively opening new office locations, so if one opens near you, our Real HART policy will apply. We are not looking for attendance for the sake of attendance but believe that the opportunity to coordinate in-office team meetings, 1:1 meetings with managers, taking advantage of on-site learning, and connecting with client partners is a critical to delivering on our purpose of making healthcare what it should be. Outside of these offices, we have regions, where people work remotely but come together quarterly for collaboration, culture and learning opportunities.
