Job Description

Job Description

At Scents of Serenity, we are more than an organic spa - we are a sanctuary built on intention, integrity, and genuine care. Built on the belief that true luxury is found in the balance of expertise, intention, and results, we exist to create an environment where skilled therapists and estheticians blend luxurious spa experiences with deep, intentional care. Every detail of our spa - from the products we carefully choose to the way we serve one another - is guided by respect for the mind, body, and spirit. We believe exceptional experiences begin behind the scenes, with leaders who uplift their teams, lead with humility, and understand that when people are valued, excellence naturally follows.

We are seeking an experienced and purpose-driven Spa Manager to guide the daily operations and continued growth of Scents of Serenity. This role seeks a confident, hands-on leader with a strong background in spa or hospitality management who leads with integrity, supports their team with intention, and sets clear expectations through example.

The Spa Manager plays a vital role in shaping both the guest experience and the internal culture of the spa. This position requires a leader who values professionalism, mutual respect, and healthy boundaries between management and staff, fostering an environment built on trust and accountability. A successful candidate understands the importance of collaboration across all locations, works as a unified team player, and consistently acts in the best interest of the spa.

Through thoughtful leadership, operational excellence, and a people-centered approach grounded in clear boundaries, the Spa Manager ensures that the mission, vision, and standards of Scents of Serenity are upheld while cultivating a workplace where team members feel supported, respected, and empowered to succeed.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and facility standards at all times

Sales & Guest Experience

  • Achieve sales goals through a non-aggressive, educational sales approach
  • Coach the team on consultative conversations focused on client needs rather than pushy selling
  • Support front desk and service providers in creating seamless, high-quality client experiences
  • Address client concerns proactively, including reaching out to dissatisfied clients and resolving issues professionally

Financial & Inventory Management

  • Manage inventory levels, ordering, and controls to minimize waste and maintain service readiness
  • Oversee expense management and support budgeting efforts
  • Monitor product usage and retail performance in alignment with business goals

Growth & Strategy

  • Contribute ideas and initiatives to support spa growth and operational improvements
  • Partner with ownership and leadership on process improvements, training strategies, and performance goals
  • Maintain a forward-thinking mindset focused on sustainable growth and team success

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Spa Manager or Assistant Spa Manager is required
  • Demonstrated success managing large teams in a fast-paced spa or wellness environment
  • Strong understanding of spa operations, KPIs, scheduling, inventory, and financial controls
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable
  • Experience balancing supportive leadership with clear professional boundaries
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Leadership Style We Value

  • Leads by example with integrity, consistency, and professionalism
  • Practices servant leadership
  • Maintains professional boundaries while fostering a respectful, supportive team environment
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and discretion in manager–employee relationships
  • Upholds a leadership presence rooted in fairness, consistency, and accountability
  • Comfortable making data-driven and people-focused decisions
