JOB SUMMARY:
The Financial Associate will work with the Senior Financial Analyst to provide
support to the finance team. This role focuses on assisting with the development
of financial models and analyzing data sets to provide insights that support the
company's growth and profitability objectives.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
* Modeling Support: Assist in maintaining financial models to evaluate business
performance and track strategic initiatives.
* Data Analysis: Support senior analysts in analyzing financial data and
industry trends to help identify risks and opportunities.
* Integrity: Evaluate large data sets for quality and identify areas where data
attributes can be improved.
* Reporting Assistance: Support the preparation of Board-level reporting and
financial ad hoc reports.
* Ad Hoc Projects: Help support specific financial analysis requests from
executive leadership and subsidiary teams.
* Documentation: Ensure meticulous organization and storage of all summer
analysis projects for future retrieval
QUALIFICATIONS

qualifications.
Education, Training, Certifications:
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Finance,
Economics, Accounting, or a related field, strongly preferred.
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements:
* Relevant experience or studies showcasing financial literacy and the
willingness to learn new processes and systems
* Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to
communicate complex issues effectively.
* Professionalism: Ability to work in a multi-location team environment and
build relationships across the business.
* Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and high level of accuracy is
essential, along with working cross-functional with other groups in the
organization.
* Work Ethic: Strong work ethic and ability to work in a multi-location team
environment
Communication Skills:
* Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in English
with employees, executives, and board of directors
Other Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
- Must be able to comply with Summit’s Drug and Alcohol Policy and Background
screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements
based on contractual agreements.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and
stand for long periods. Employee will occasionally be required to drive, bend,
kneel, balance, lift <20lb, walk, stand, ascend/descend stairs, reach above and
below shoulders, stoop, and twist.
Work Environment:
Employee will consistently be required to work indoors in an office or remote
setting, work alone and with others. Employee will occasionally be required to
wear appropriate personal protective equipment, as required by company safety
policies. Employee may be required to travel.
