Pay: $23-$25/hour
Schedule - They havea few shifts which vary week to week:
7:30am-3:30pm | 8:00am-4:00pm | 8:30pm-4:30pm | 9:00am-5:30pm/6:00pm
Employment Type: Direct Hire

About the Opportunity Our client, a growing healthcare practice in Fair Lawn, NJ, is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join their team. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in creating a positive patient experience while supporting the daily operations of a busy medical office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with medical office experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
Responsibilities - Welcome patients and provide a friendly, professional check-in and check-out experience
- Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments
- Answer incoming calls and route messages appropriately
- Coordinate patient flow and communicate with clinical staff throughout the day
- Collect copays and outstanding balances
- Scan and maintain patient records and insurance documentation within the EMR system
- Assist with appointment follow-up and patient communications
- Support administrative projects, forms, and general office operations
- Travel to nearby office locations as needed for coverage
Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in a medical receptionist, patient services, or healthcare administrative role preferred
- Experience working with EMR/EHR systems preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes is a plus
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
