Summary
The Industrial Engineer (IE) is responsible for optimizing efficiency, reducing waste, and increasing productivity in the company’s manufacturing system. The IE will design and develops production layouts for the company’s production to increase productivity and quality standards. Their main duties include reviewing current production schedules and processes to find potential improvements, designing the layouts of the facilities and estimating production costs. This position requires a blend of technical and analytical skills, including proficiency in data analysis, computer programming, and knowledge of manufacturing processes. Industrial Engineers must also have excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members, managers, and clients.
