Legal Secretary - Legal Assistant
Established 20+ Years Premier Firm Seeking Legal Secretary/ Legal Assistant in Fresno, CA
An established firm based in Fresno with over 20 years in practice is seeking a Legal Secretary/ Legal Assistant with a minimum of three years of experience to join their team onsite. This person will have experience assisting attorneys with prep work, editing, drafting documents, and more. The firm is solely focused on employment law with litigation prep work.
Offer:
Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000, contingent on experience
Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off
This role can be remote for the right person!
Qualifications:
The candidate must reside in CA, within commuting distance to Fresno.
The candidate should have at least three years of experience assisting attorney's.
The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in Word and Excel, strong research and writing skills, and excellent verbal communication abilities.
The candidate must have a working knowledge of legal descriptions and searches, be detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
The candidate should be well organized, self-motivated, and a team player.
Responsibilities:
The Legal Assistant will handle business transactions and corporate maintenance work.
The Legal Assistant may assist in preparing and conducting UCC filings and searches.
The Legal Assistant will answer calls, assist in scheduling, and other administrative duties.
The Legal Assistant will assist with paperwork required by regulatory bodies.
