Job Description

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to support our Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management team within the agriculture, forestry and fishing industry. In this role, you will help ensure reliable, safe operation of our production and processing facilities by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and control systems that are critical to sustainable food production. You will work hands-on in a plant environment, partnering closely with engineers, maintenance technicians, and operations personnel to minimize downtime and keep equipment running at peak performance. As a Maintenance Electrician at Corteva Agriscience, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial electrical systems, including motors, drives, distribution panels, control circuits, and instrumentation used in seed processing, crop protection manufacturing, and related agricultural operations. You will read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, diagnose faults using test equipment, and safely repair or replace components in accordance with NFPA 70E, the National Electrical Code, and company standards. Your work will include installing conduit and wiring, connecting motors and variable frequency drives, supporting PLC and automation troubleshooting with the engineering team, and completing work orders and documentation in our computerized maintenance management system. Safety, quality, and sustainability are central to this position. You will consistently apply Lockout/Tagout and electrical safety practices, participate in hazard identification and risk reduction activities, and contribute to root cause analysis and reliability improvement initiatives. You will support continuous improvement projects that enhance equipment reliability, energy efficiency, and process stability, directly contributing to Corteva’s mission of providing farmers with innovative and sustainable solutions.
