Job Description

KURNAT WOODWORKING — HIRING CABINETMAKER

We’re looking for a real cabinetmaker — not a helper, not a guesser.

If you know how to build clean, precise cabinetry and take pride in your work, you’ll fit here.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Build custom cabinetry and millwork (kitchens, offices, trim — inset & overlay)
• Read and execute shop drawings
• Cut, assemble, and install components with precision
• Work with solid wood, plywood, laminates, and hardware
• Keep your work clean and organized

You should be able to build cabinets start to finish — not just parts.

WHAT WE EXPECT

• Real cabinetmaking experience
• Strong attention to detail (tight reveals, square boxes — no shortcuts)
• Ability to read drawings and think through the build
• Works independently without constant supervision
• Shows up on time and takes ownership

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous shop experience required
• References from past employers (required)

⚡ HIRING PROCESS

• Short interview
• Paid shop test (few hours)
• 1-week trial period

We don’t guess — we build together and see.

PAY

• $25–$40+/hr depending on skill and experience

If you’re tired of sloppy shops and want to do real work — apply.

Send your experience and a short note.

– Kris
