Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for energetic and reliable Production Operators to join our production facility in Bakersfield. In this role, you will be responsible for the final stages of the production line—ensuring our products are packed securely, labeled correctly, and ready for shipment. You will work as part of a high-speed team to meet daily production targets while maintaining a safe, clean workspace.
salary: $17 - $17.01 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 5 AM - 5 PM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities - Machine Operation: Monitor and operate automated case packing machinery to ensure bottles are loaded into trays or boxes efficiently.
- Quality Control: Visually inspect bottles, caps, and packaging for defects (leaks, misaligned labels, or damaged cardboard).
- Manual Handling: Manually stack cases on pallets, clear conveyor jams, and replenish packaging materials (film, glue, cardboard).
- Safety & Sanitation: Adhere to all Food Safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines. Maintain a "sweep-as-you-go" clean work environment.
- Documentation: Maintain basic production logs and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team immediately.
The essential functions of this role include:
- wearing steel toe shoes
- manual lifting up to 50lbs
- standing for 12 hours at one time
- working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
- working weekends
