Salary: $18.00 or 18.50/hr.
Job Overview
Responsible for providing production services required in operating varied professional entertainment events.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
Ability to follow verbal and written directions/instructions
Assist with technical requirements for events
Involves moving and setting up equipment for events and any necessary support for concerts and stage staff
Ability to perform complex technical set-ups under stress and within pressing deadlines
Provide transport service in a comfortable, safe, and timely manner
Consults and gets approval from entertainers, exhibitors, and demonstrators before loading, securing, transporting, unloading and moving equipment onto the cart.
Comply with all safety policies, guidelines and procedures
Ensures all required certifications and drivers licenses are always valid
Qualifications
Excellent customer service, communication skills, and driving skills.
Good judgement and professionalism
Must have a valid drivers license
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or GED
College coursework in technical theatre a plus
Must be able to perform physically intensive labor including ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Ability to follow instructions and work well with others
Working Conditions
Moves objects up to 50 pounds.
Involves some exposure to hazards or physical risk that require following safety precautions.
Works a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary
