The Telephone Triage Nurse provides phone triage and clinical advice based on Schmitt-Thompson Triage Clinical Content (STCC) nurse guidelines and protocols. The population scope includes newborns to the elderly and directs to the appropriate access to care including immediate triage to EMS, a provider, or follow-up in the ambulatory setting.
