Our client, a mission-driven non-profit organization based in New York City, is seeking a Temp-to-Perm HR Generalist to join their Human Resources team. This is a highly visible, hands‑on role supporting the Senior Director of HR & Administration in a small, collaborative department. The ideal candidate brings well-rounded HR expertise with a strong focus on recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration, and thrives in a small company environment. Strong recruitment experience, including screening, interviewing, and full‑cycle hiring, required. Small company experience, required. Non‑profit experience, strongly preferred. Experience with employee relations, benefits administration, payroll support, and compliance. Understanding of multi‑state employment compliance, required. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable facilitating trainings and orientations. The pay for this position is $38-$41/hour. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
