Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting with patient ratios of 1:4–6
Deliver care within a Primary Stroke Center environment and support STEMI patient management protocols
Provide nursing care within two locked Behavioral Health units in the ED, supported by security and ED staffing teams
Staff rapid evaluation units addressing both urgent care and critical care needs, including rapid medical screenings
Float within the hospital as needed, remaining within scope of practice

Required Qualifications

Valid Maryland RN license or Compact license required at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
At least 1 prior travel assignment required
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
Must be willing to float within the hospital within scope of practice

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in a Primary Stroke Center or STEMI-capable facility
Prior experience providing care in a Behavioral Health emergency setting
