Warehouse Administrator

The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for handling materials of the warehouse, including receiving daily deliveries and putting away received material into inventory. The main function of the Warehouse Administrator is to drive a box truck as assigned. Applicant must possess a clean driving record.

Principles, Duties, and Responsibilities:

• Staging materials for shipment
• Building of crates/boxes for shipments.
• Ability to guide and direct other junior staff as needed.
• Capacity for minimum lifting of 60lbs daily.
• Must be flexible and multi-faceted to accept tasks based on workload and/or resources.
• Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, a variety of governmental employees and officials, and the public.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Set an exemplary example through work ethic, attendance, responsibility, quality, attitude, initiative, and communication.
• Environment demands a detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated individual.
• MS Office applications (Excel, Word)
• Computer skills which included working knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other applications that use common web-based user interfaces.
• Strong communication and language skills.

Software Proficiency Desired:

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Adobe Reader

Requires the Ability to Operate Equipment such as but not limited to:

• Forklift
• Box Truck

Working Conditions:

• Lifting heavy materials
• Must be able to handle criticism and remain calm in and effective in highly stressful situations. Keep emotions in check, control anger, and avoid aggressive behavior even in exceedingly difficult situations with vendors.
• Requires persistence in the face of obstacles and in facing challenges.
• Requires standing and sitting for periods of time for computer-related and filing work.
