Monarch Medical Management Slidell, LA, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monarch Medical Management is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our billing and case management operations. This role plays an important part in tracking patient cases, managing collections, and ensuring accurate financial documentation throughout the litigation process. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced administrative environment. Responsibilities Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally Manage and respond to telephone encounters throughout the day Open, process, and scan incoming mail Post checks and payments received through the mail as needed Update patient case status in detail throughout the litigation process until completion Communicate with internal departments when additional information is needed Send attorney statements when requested Confirm outstanding balances with attention to accuracy and completion Print and forward billing statements Print and submit reduction requests for approval prior to completion Collect payments via credit card when applicable Manage collections on concluded cases Process approved discounts and reductions to bills Ensure new patient accounts are placed in the correct collection status monthly Qualifications Previous accounting, billing, or administrative experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment Professional communication skills, both written and verbal Experience in medical billing, legal billing, or collections is a plus Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (after 60 days of employment) Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays 401(k) with company match Opportunities for growth and advancement #J-18808-Ljbffr
