Since 2007, our studio has specialized in high-end custom home design, creating homes that reflect thoughtful design, precise detailing, and a deep understanding of how people live. We're a small, close-knit team based in Raleigh, NC, and we're looking for an Architectural Drafter who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to exceptional custom residential projects from concept through construction documentation. What You'll Do Produce Construction Documents: Develop clear, accurate, and buildable construction documents with a high level of attention to detail. Support Design Development: Collaborate with project managers and designers to refine plans, solve design challenges, and maintain design intent throughout the project. Create 3D Models and Visualizations: Build BIM models and create renderings that help communicate design ideas to clients and the team. Execute Revisions: Incorporate redlines and drawing updates efficiently while maintaining drawing quality and consistency. Stay Organized: Maintain drawing sets, models, and project files while balancing multiple active projects. What We're Looking For 1-3 years of experience preparing construction documents for residential projects. A degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Drafting, or a related field is preferred but not required. A genuine passion for residential design and a desire to understand the craft of home design. Familiarity with residential construction methods, wood-framed construction, and construction documentation standards. Experience producing floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and other construction documentation with accuracy and consistency. Experience with BIM software. Archicad and Revit experience is highly preferred. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a collaborative, fast-paced studio environment.
